Diamond layer glazing (clogging)

The term "glazing" refers to the buildup of processed material on the bond surface between the diamond grains. When glazing occurs, cutting performance drops significantly. This most often happens when processing soft and ductile materials such as marble. Glazing is eliminated by opening the diamond layer with abrasive materials.
